Solvang 2005

Well, Solvang 05 was a great time, even though we did it in our 4 wheeled vehicles.
The damn weather man, ( that has now made it to the list of people we really dis-like )
told us that it was going to be a piss poor weekend to ride, and we believed him!
Well, it wasn't.  It was a great weekend, and even if we didn't have our bikes, everyone
had a ball.  The wives shopped til they dropped, (most of the guys did too).  Goofyshoes
commisioned a giant checkerboard to be built, and he and I had the first Geezers
checker challange!  The first game ended in a tie, and I won the second.  He also brought
all the fixin's for Margaritas!  Well now, with a little ice, courtesy of the Motel 6, the blender
that Goofyshoes and Jenny brought along, you know we had a great time!  We had a
very delicious dinner at "The best BBQ in the world", a little pricey, but worth every bit.
We wish we would have had more, but were happy with the good time we had.  I will be
putting pics up in the next day or two, as work allows.  I have to make them smaller and
do a little editing on some others.  The rest of you missed a great time with us, but we will
try to plan another trip in a month or so, if we have enough interest.  We will probably
also move the ride date to May, just to avoid the crappy predictions of the drugged up
weatherman!  I will send out a notice when I put some pics up.  Thank you for the good time!

Thats about all the rain there was.	Debbie Rick and John	Making a Geezer look bad isn't healthy! Didn't he know it was going to rain!?	Even the wives were mad at him for riding in this terrible rain storm!  he was a great sport, from L.A.  We should have gotten his name.  If you are out there, sign the guest book!
Getting ready for something to eat.  John, aka Jaws, is amazing, he seems to know every place to eat in California!	This is where we had breakfast, it's called Paula's.  Great food, they just need to make room for us!	I think we were at the Hooter House Of Obscene Breakfasts.	You can tell he is the Blend Master, by the concentration he is putting into the preparation.  They always came out GREAT Tom.  You have been named the Blend Master!!
